RESUME

Jean-Louis DE BIASI (Las Vegas, Nevada) is a writer, speaker and a Hermetic philosopher. He has studied the various topics of the Tradition since the seventies. He has been initiated into the highest degrees of several Western initiatic traditions. He was introduced very early into Ordo Aurum Solis and he is now the Grand Master. A large part of his daily work consists in perpetuating this rich Ogdoadic and Hermetic tradition. He is also in charge as Reverend of the religious expression of the Hermetic tradition called "Ecclesia Ogdoadica", public structure of the Aurum Solis. His philosophical and spiritual tradition is rooted in neoplatonic and hermetic affiliations, such as the ancient Masters: Plato, Proclus, Iamblicus, the Emperor Julian, Pletho and Ficino to name only a few, defined it.

He is also the person in charge of the O.K.R.C. (Ordre Kabbalistique de la Rose-Croix - Kabbalistic Order of the Rose-Cross).

He was initiated into Freemasonry and raised in 1992. He is currently belonging to Lodges in Canada and the U.S. He is also 32° of the Scottish Rite ( S.J. USA ), F.G.C.R., and Royal Arch Mason.

He is invited regularly around the world, where he gives workshops, seminars, trainings, and conferences on various philosophical and traditional subjects and expounds and expands on in his writings.

He is the author of several books in French published in several languages and is now writing in English for Llewellyn Publications.
