THE HOUSES of AURUM SOLIS
What is a House of the Order?
The sacred place where the initiate members of the Order have their ritual meetings is called a "House". It's necessary to make a distinction between this word and the "Temenos" or the "Telesterion" to just notice these two specific temples.
For the Order, the Temenos, is a Temple consecrated in which the initiates of the Order accomplish their initiations, rituals and practices. We never accomplishe theorical study (and of course no administrative work) in it. The Temenos is consecrated temporary or definitively according the specific rituals of the Order. The Temenos is the Temple where the members of the First Hall (1st level of the Order) and of the Second Hall (2nd level of the Order) have their ritual meetings. We are saying that it is the place where the "Minor Mysteries of the Ogdoadic Tradition" are accomplished. Of course we must understand the word "Minor" as "First (Mysteries)".
The Telesterion is a Temple consecrated where the initiates of the Third Hall (3rd level of the Order) have their ritual meetings. In the same way it is just used for the initiations, rituals and practices. àwe are saying that it is the place where the "Major Mysteries of the Ogdoadic Tradition" are accomplished. But we must notice that these Major Mysteries are not limited to his level. A study of the plan abd design of the tradition greek and roman temples will give to the student many elements to understand what we suggest here.

What are the names of the Houses?
Every House have a specific name, a seal and a banner. The egregore in a theurgic Order like ours is a very important matter. This is the reason why the name of the Houses are quite never given to the public. Our Order knows that a name have a special power rooted in the power of the Word itself and the connexion created by the consecration of the House between the House and the egegore of the Order. As a name of power, the name of the House is keeped as an important element. It's why you can't find on the website the different names of the Houses and just the countries and eventually the cities in which we have Official Houses. It's why the Houses of the Order which have (or will have) a website or a web page will just give the name of the city and nothing more without any esoteric elements. This is exactely the same regarding the seals and banners of the Houses. Of course these elements are knowned by the members.
